Howard Universal gathers visions and voices of ‘The Mecca’ from across generations, featuring reprints from the university’s yearbooks spanning 1947 to 2011 along with new images documented on the Washington D.C. campus by photographer D’Andre Williams. Alumni submissions include a testimony from celebrated artist Laraaji, image submissions from cinematographer Bradford Young and stylist Marcus Paul, alongside select reprints from the late Toni Morrison - an integral figure in Howard University’s intellectual history.
